OTHER
-
The Gatekeeper on duty will
have authority over all employees and facilities during the shift. Please
register any comments or criticisms with the Gatekeeper.

Care givers (Babysitters or
Grandparents) must be registered as such at the desk and will be
responsible for the children designated by member parents.

Emergency phone and
instruction forms are at the desk. Please complete one for your children.

Please remember, Sunrise
Community Club authority ends at our property line.

Club facilities and
pools are available for children and adult parties. See Party fee
schedule below. Reservations must be made at least 2 days in
advance for pool parties, giving start time and approximate number of
participants.

GUEST POLICIES
1. Delinquent members may not
be registered as a guest.
2. Members who register guests
must remain on the premises with the guest(s) and will be responsible for
the actions of the guest(s).
3. All
guests must be registered by a member in good standing.
4. Applicable guest fees must
be paid at the time of registration.
5. Except with prior board
approval, each member family may register no more that 5 guests per day.
6. No guest may be registered
more that 10 times throughout the summer season (Memorial Day through
Labor Day).
7. Guest
fees do no apply to infants 2 years of age and under.
REC ROOM RULES
1. Children 7 years of age or
under must be accompanied by the child's parent or legal guardian or a
care giver designated by the child's parent or legal guardian.
2. Recreation
room equipment may be reserved for only 1/2 hour by any person. Equipment
may be rented for $.50 and checked out at the gate. Equipment must be
returned in the same condition when the 1/2
hour reservation is complete. At this time another reservation may be
submitted. Any
damage to equipment will result in forfeiting the $.50 deposit. Ping
Pong balls may be purchased for $.25 each.
3. No
wet attire is allowed in the recreation room.
4. No food or drinks are
allowed in the recreation room.
CLUBHOUSE
RULES
1. No one under 21 years of
age is permitted in the clubhouse unless properly supervised by someone 21
years of age or older or by an employee of Sunrise Community Club.
2. No wet attire is allowed in
the clubhouse.
POOL RULES
1. Members
and guests are expected to follow the Louisiana State Board of Health
Personal Regulations listed below and posted in the pool dressing rooms.
2. Children under the age of
10 years of age must be supervised by the child's parent, legal guardian
or a care giver designated by the child's parent or legal guardian.
Children 7, 8, or 9 years of age are exempted from this rule if they have
passed the Sunrise swim qualification test.
3. The baby pool is reserved
for non-swimming 6 and under children who must be supervised by the
child's parent, legal guardian or a care giver designated by the child's
parent or legal guardian.
4. Rules concerning the slide
will be at Lifeguards discretion.
5. Swimmers using float type
aids are restricted to the shallow end of the pools. No float type aids
will be allowed on the slide or diving board.
6. Rafts, inner tubes, air
mattresses, toys, Styrofoam floats and rigid objects are excluded from the
pools except on designated days.
7. Tennis balls, ping
pong balls and small objects are not allowed in the pool at anytime.
8. Pools shall be vacated
during thundershowers and electrical storms or at the lifeguard's
discretion. Pools will also be vacated during home swim meets,
starting at 4:00 PM.
9. Smoking, eating, drinking
or street clothes are prohibited in the pools or on pool aprons.
10. Persons under 18 years of
age must vacate the pools during "10 Minute Break."
11. Bona fide swimwear must be
worn in the pools. NO street clothes. Cotton shirts and shorts
are NOT allowed in the pools. Nylon shorts and swim shirts are
permitted to be worn over proper swimming attire. Swim diapers must be
worn by children who aren't potty-trained, and covered by swimming attire.
12. Play "chase" in pool only.
13. No riding or diving on or
from shoulders.
14. Only one person is allowed
on slide or diving board at a time.
15. No running or horseplay in
or around pools, on slide, on diving board, or in dressing rooms, showers,
etc.
16. Loitering on pool aprons
is prohibited.
17. Lounge chairs or other
stationary objects are prohibited from the walkways within 10 feet of the
pools.
18. No glass
containers are allowed in the pool areas at anytime.
LOUISIANA STATE BOARD OF HEALTH PERSONAL HYGIENE REGULATIONS
1. All persons using a
swimming pool shall be required to take a shower bath, using soap and
water and thoroughly rinsing off all soap suds before entering the pool.
2. A bather leaving the pool
to use the toilet shall be required to take' a second cleansing bath
before returning.
3. All bathers shall be
instructed to use the toilet and particularly to empty the bladder before
taking a cleansing bath and entering the pool.
4. Any person having a skin
disease, sore, or inflamed eyes, cold, nasal or ear discharge, or any
communicable disease shall be excluded from the pool.
5. Spitting, spouting of
water, blowing the nose, etc., in the pool is strictly prohibited.
GENERAL RULES
1. All persons must sign in at
the gate upon entering club premises, giving name and membership number.
Only members in good standing are permitted to use club facilities.
2. Except in the Clubhouse,
glass containers are prohibited anywhere on club property.
3. Bicycles must be parked in
specifically designated areas; Skateboards and roller blades are not
permitted on club premises.
4. Pets are prohibited on dub
premises.
5. Unsafe behavior is
prohibited on club premises.
6. Profanity and vulgarity are
prohibited on dub premises.
7. Children under 7 years old
must be accompanied at all times by the child's parent, legal guardian or
a care giver designated by the child's parent or legal guardian.
8. After 7:00 p.m., children
under 13 years of age must be accompanied by the child's parent, legal
guardian or a care giver designated by the child's parent or legal
guardian.
9. Persons under 21 years of
age may not consume alcoholic beverages or smoke on club premises.
